Secure networks, surveillance, and access control for Australia's critical infrastructure.

Australian business technology and electronic security

Technology Infrastructure Built Properly From the First Cable

Advanced Solutions does not treat cabling, networking, phones, CCTV and security as separate products. We design and install the complete system so every component works together.

  • Structured cabling
  • Networks and internet
  • Business phones
  • CCTV and security

01Cabling foundation

The Quality of the System Starts Behind the Wall

A reliable system starts with the physical cabling. We do not pull cables through a building and leave them hanging.

Most network problems are blamed on hardware, internet providers or software. In many cases, the real problem begins with rushed cabling, poor terminations or undocumented infrastructure.

We take pride in the parts of the installation that customers may never normally see.

  • Planned cable pathways
  • Protected bend radius
  • Services separated where required
  • Clean parallel cable runs
  • Correctly secured and supported
  • Labelled at both ends
  • Room for servicing and expansion
  • Every data point tested

02Rack and hardware

Every Connection Arrives Somewhere

The communications rack is the operational centre of your system. Every cable we run terminates here, and every service the business depends on passes through it.

We plan the rack layout before hardware is mounted: patch panels, managed switches, routers and firewalls, network video recorders, servers and UPS equipment, each positioned with cable management, ventilation and serviceability in mind.

A clean rack is not only aesthetic. It reduces troubleshooting time, protects equipment and makes future upgrades straightforward.

  • Rack layout planning
  • Patch panels
  • Managed switches
  • Routers and firewalls
  • Network video recorders
  • Servers
  • UPS equipment
  • Ventilation and airflow
  • Serviceable cable management
  • Capacity for future hardware

Access control hub

Access control hub.

Managed network switching

Intruder alarm plus flood and fire monitoring.

CCTV recording

local storage and controlled remote viewing.

Firewall

multi WAN, VLAN segregations IDS IPS and remote monitoring.

Phone system

Handset registration, call routing and extensions across one or more sites.

Backup power

UPS protection so the network, phones and recording ride through short outages.

Structured patching

Labelled patch panels so any outlet can be traced and re-patched in minutes.

03Network and internet

Installed Hardware Is Only the Beginning

We configure the network around how the business actually operates, not around a default settings page.

Phones, cameras, access control, workstations, payment terminals and cloud services all place different demands on a network. Separating them properly keeps each one predictable, and keeps a busy guest network away from the systems that matter.

We arrange the internet service, configure routing and wireless coverage, and set up backup connectivity so a single outage does not stop the business.

  • Business internet
  • NBN, fibre and fixed wireless
  • Managed routing
  • VLAN separation
  • Business Wi-Fi
  • Guest Wi-Fi
  • Static IP addressing
  • Multi-site connectivity
  • 4G or 5G backup
  • Automatic failover
  • Network monitoring
  • Troubleshooting

04Business phones

Phones Configured Around the Way Your Team Works

We install and configure business phone systems as part of the wider network deployment, not as a separate job handed to someone else.

Handsets are only the visible part. The work is in the call flow: who rings first, what happens after hours, where an unanswered call goes, and how a second site answers for the first.

We port existing numbers, set up the routing, account for what happens if the internet drops, and show your team how to use it.

  • Desk phones
  • Cordless handsets
  • Auto attendants
  • Ring groups
  • Call routing
  • Business hours
  • After-hours messages
  • Voicemail
  • Multi-site extensions
  • Number porting
  • Internet failover considerations
  • Staff training

05Security systems

One Infrastructure. Complete Visibility and Control.

CCTV, alarms, intercoms and access control are designed as part of the complete technology system, on the same infrastructure we have already built.

Where supported, we design systems so cameras, alarms, intercoms and access control can operate as one coordinated solution. Where a platform does not support that, we say so before installation rather than after.

Remote access is set up deliberately, with user permissions that match who should actually be able to view footage, unlock a door or disarm a system.

  • Commercial CCTV
  • Remote viewing
  • Video recording
  • Alarm systems
  • Access control
  • Video intercoms
  • User permissions
  • Event notifications
  • Secure remote access
  • Integration between supported systems
Camera positions chosen for the coverage the site actually needs.
01 Access control

Readers and door hardware, with permissions set per person and per door.

02 Video intercom

See and speak to visitors before releasing a door, from a handset or a phone.

03 Alarm system

Detection and arming arranged around trading hours and how the site is used.

04 Monitoring and remote access

Live views and event notifications, on the devices the right people already carry.

06Testing and handover

The Installation Is Not Finished Until It Has Been Tested

Before we hand a site over, every part of the system is tested and documented, and your team is shown how to use it.

We test the data points, validate the network, force the internet to fail over and watch it recover, place real calls through the finished routing, and check every camera view and recording.

The result is a usable system with documentation behind it, rather than a collection of installed products.

  • Data point testing
  • Network validation
  • Internet failover testing
  • Phone call testing
  • Camera view and recording checks
  • User permission checks
  • Equipment labelling
  • Documentation
  • Customer walkthrough
  • Staff training
  • Remote support preparation
Test results are recorded against the labelling, so the documentation matches the site.

07Ongoing support

Support After the Installation

Businesses change. Staff join, sites expand, equipment reaches the end of its life. We stay available for the work that comes after handover.

Because we installed and documented the system, we already know how it is put together. That is usually the difference between a quick fix and a long diagnosis.

Much of it can be handled remotely. What cannot, we attend.

  • Internet faults
  • Network monitoring
  • Phone changes
  • New users
  • Additional cameras
  • Equipment replacement
  • System expansion
  • Remote troubleshooting
  • Multi-site management
Documented systems are faster to support, whether remotely or on site.
